Robyn Field

Robyn Field has spent many years on the Joburg arts scene, chiefly as owner and
curator of Unity Gallery, from 2003-2013, where she worked with emerging artists to
develop their careers
When Robyn and her husband closed Unity Gallery in 2013 she started painting full
time, emerging with bright and beautifully absurd work that digs into the often crazy
heart of South African (and global) society.
Robyn’s work hangs in a range of private and corporate collections, including the
JDA (Joburg Development Agency), #NetworkBBDO, the Global Credit Rating
Company, T-systems SA, and Golder and Associates. She has held five solo
exhibitions through the years, and she has participated at Turbine Art Fair (2017 and
2019), Melrose Gallery’s sculptX (2019) and the Biennial Neodvisnih (2021).
