Collin Cole, master printmaker with over 30 years experience. He graduated from Natal Technikon with a National Diploma in Fine Art and later obtained a Masters Degree in Fine Art/Printmaking from Rhodes University.
Collin was a university lecturer for 16 years and has taught various printmaking techniques including Serigraphy, Intaglio, Relief printing and Off-set Lithography at Rhodes University and The University of North West.
In January 2003, Collin established a private teaching facility, the Blue Door Print Studio at St Ninian’s Church, Parktown North, to teach and give students the opportunity to learn professional printmaking. In May 2017 he moved and opened his new studio in Melville/Richmond, Johannesburg in an old beautiful church built in 1902.
