Ndako Nghipandulwa
Ndako Nghipandulwa (b. 1988 in Kwanza Sul, Angola) is a self-taught artist. His parents were in exile during the liberation struggle, returning to Namibia post-independence in 1990. He studied Civil Engineering & Project Management, and worked in the construction industry before becoming a fulltime artist. Recent exhibitions include his solo exhibition ‘Just Because’, at the Project Room in 2022, the Beijing Biennale, 2022 and the group exhibition ‘In the Meantime’ in 2021. Working predominantly with nails and string, Nghipandulwa is highly sought-after for his craft, creating numerous commissioned works for clients in Namibia as well as hosting workshops for children, most recently for ‘UNICEF World Children’s Day’.
