Ndumiso Verity Bhengu
Ndumiso Verity Bhengu is a Johannesburg-based artist born on the 7th of May 1998 in Soweto, where he started his photography practice. He developed an eye for photographing landscapes through cellphone photography in 2016, prompting him to pursue his photography practice at the Market Photo Workshop where he rediscovered his unique style of fusing Documentary and Street photography during 2019. Since then, his work has been exhibited at the RMB Turbine Art Fair, a Covid-19 project relief fund (2020). He has participated in a collaborative exhibition named Enlightened 20(2020) and also is a verified member of the Viewbug community where he shares his creativity with the rest of the world. After completing his studies at the Market Photo Workshop he then when on to nurture his skills particularly in African Contemporary Photography at Through The Lens Collective (2021) and is currently doing an Advanced Course (2022).
