Nina Kruger

Nina Kruger is a contemporary fiber artist with a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Pretoria and an MA from The Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Art in Poznań, Poland. With seven years of professional experience in the commercial textile industry, her artistic practice merges academic expertise with hands-on industry knowledge, creating a rich, multidimensional approach to fiber art.

Kruger has showcased her work in notable exhibition, including the Poznań Textile Biennale and I Dreamt of an Empty Forest in 2023, where she exhibited alongside alumni and lecturers from UAP. Her accolades includes the prestigious Rector's Scholarship at The Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Art and the second merit award at the Barclays Africa L'Atelier Competition, which earned her a residency at Sylt Raum in Germany.
