Born in Kenya, Ongere Churchill’s practice incorporates drawings, paintings, collages, and mixed media installations to depict interpretations of the politics of human relations. In his presentations, Ongere eschews explicitly political or anecdotal imagery. To communicate he relies instead on innocuous objects and their movements and interactions within undefined bound and open areas.
