Saaiqa

Saaiqa is an interdisciplinary artist, writer, visual storyteller and director born and based in Durban.

Their work is often rooted in explorations about mental illness, the complexities of the mind and the psychological landscape we traverse as we experience life, sociopolitical and geopolitical intersections, philosophy, identity and our species’ relationship and place within the natural world; with works predominantly taking form as photography, installation and mixed media.
