Zonia studied B.A (Fine arts) Hon at the University of Pretoria which she completed in 1996. In 1998 Zonia received a merit award at the Sasol New Signatures. Zonia's work formed part of art collections such as: Sasol, ABSA private bank, Hewlet Packard, Rand Merchant, Nandos (UK) and the Leon Strydom collection. Zonia won the Sanlam "Vuleka" painting category in 2009. She has had 6 solo exhibitions up to date and competed in numerous group exibitions. She is part of ‘The Voice Art Collective’.
