Ndi Bi Na Yard

This graphic artwork reflects a typical scene in a dusty Nigerian village “it is tradition in my Igbo culture to go East to one’s family homestead, and I have such deep memories of spending time in my family’s village; there were always one or two shady adults lingering on the outskirts of our games and conversations”, says Muoh. Ndi bi na Yard is commentary of the underbelly of Nigerian society and indeed Muoh’s own memory bank and a persistent awareness that one need be wary around strange men.
