Brutal.
Established By Elad Kirshenbaum and Norman O’Flynn in August 2020 during the brutal days of COVID, Brutal. is a project space and gallery showcasing a dynamic mix of emerging artists alongside established, accomplished artists. More than just a gallery, Brutal. is a multi-layered platform that includes a mentorship program, residency, and artist management facilities.
Providing a space for artists to create, experiment and showcase their work, the collective behind Brutal.believes that creativity should be unrestricted, experimental, edgy, and always aspire to push boundaries.
Embracing the raw and unfiltered energy of the city streets, our BLACK CUBE project space exists in polarity to the traditional white cube, allowing the flexibility of creative spirit and change. The space promotes the art of adaptability in a brutal world. Taking it back to the streets, there is a certain brutality that dictates the way scenarios play out. Mostly, there is very little explanation.
The streets, the art world, and life itself can be brutal Yet at the same time, we are brutally creative, brutally positive, and brutally in love.
