16/16, together with the Friends of 16 network, forms an evolving constellation of creators—artists, facilitators, thinkers, and artisans—who coalesce around a shared commitment: building trust, infrastructure, and possibility within Lagos.

At our core, 16/16 is both a physical and conceptual aggregator—a site and a catalyst—where ideas, practices, and relationships are free to germinate across disciplines.

Since our inception, we have invited members of our carefully curated creative ecosystem (our 'Friends of 16') to activate 16/16 as a centre for mutual learning and collaboration.

Through co‐programming, workshops, open studios, residencies and idea prototyping, we've transformed the space into a prototype of shelter: simultaneously a safe harbour as well as a creative vantage point, continuously orienting our ever-growing community toward the untold potential of our urban futures.
