This drawing is part of a series of abstract artworks where I took ideas, shapes and colours from landscapes and applied these with acrylic washes. These works were the beginning of my exploration of the technique of covering acrylic painting with charcoal or panpastel layers and then removing that layer to reveal the painting below.
