Alice Marcelino

Alice Marcelino is a portrait and documentary photographer whose work delves into the personal stories of individuals. She holds a degree in Photography from the University of East London, and her creative journey began with experimentation in various art forms, including dance and theatre. Before launching her own career, she honed her skills by assisting established photographers in Lisbon and Paris.

Marcelino's photography is distinguished by its exploration of identity, subcultures, and their significance in a globalized world. Her images reflect a deep and special interest in capturing the unique narratives of her subjects. Her work has been showcased in exhibitions across Macau, Portugal, and the UK, and has been featured in both print and online publications in London and internationally.

In addition to her practice as an artist, Alice is a passionate documentary photography tutor. She is dedicated to sharing her enthusiasm for the medium and focuses on encouraging her students to discover and express their own unique creative voices.
