As a self taught artist, I express my creativity through the medium of clay. Drawn to its ability to be molded into any shape, I sculpt forms that hold deep significance and meaning to me. I sculpt the womb and feminine figure of a woman in very abstract ways as a means of honoring myself and
the collective female as the life givers and nurturers of the planet.
Drawing further inspiration from the sacred landscape of my home country, Namibia, I seek to capture our terrain diversity in my creations. Brut textures, earth tones, organic curves and the interplay of different clay types all find expression in my work, paying tribute to the land’s awe-inspiring beauty.
