Luwice Muziti
Luwice Muziti was born in Karoi, Zimbabwe. His journey into the world of art commenced at a young age, igniting a passion that would shape his life's work. Following his formal education, Luwice found his way to the Chitungwiza Arts Culture Centre in 1997, where he immersed himself in the realm of artistic expression. Initially, he crafted intricate animals from wire and delved into sculpting, marking the beginnings of his artistic exploration. Venturing beyond borders, Luwice's artistry took him to Botswana and Namibia, where his sculptures came to life with cultural and regional influences. His time in Gaborone saw him crafting unique animal-shaped key holders, while in Windhoek's Game Shopping Centre in Namibia, his artistry found its place, captivating visitors with its distinct character. Upon his arrival in South Africa, Luwice found a new home within the creative community of Little Artist School Project. Here, he honed his skills and expanded his artistic repertoire, eventually gravitating towards paper mache as his chosen medium. Guided by the mentorship of Edward Selematsela, Luwice not only developed into a seasoned artist but also transformed into a true professional. Drawing from his experiences and growth, Luwice Muziti has dedicated himself to giving back. Within the nurturing environment of Little Artist School Project, he now mentors aspiring artists, passing on his knowledge and expertise.
