My work and process aim n to capture the ephemeral nature of being and life. I try to utilise formless, complex, overlapping and sometimes repetitive motions and line to express the inexpressible to allude rather than to declare whisper rather than elaborate. When viewing my work, I hope the viewer is moved by the intensity of the bold black forms and the rigidity of the composition while also embracing and welcoming the passion and power that it exudes. My works aren’t necessarily about representing an idea, shape, subject or topic but rather the intense and vivid experience of making and viewing art. My work is a pure, sincere and thoughtful display I pay mind to the flow and headspace I was in while creating it. It is a unique departure from many colourful and expressive styles often encounter but is formulated within my mind and performed by my hand to create one-of-a-kind pieces that are each a piece of me. As my repertoire expands the thread that connects each work becomes stronger and stronger even if they may visually appear distinct. To portray to expansion and shift of mindset that can occur throughout life.
