The artwork is a mixed media abstract piece, with black enamel paint covering most of it. It is a personal comment on the artist’s ‘black out’ period, an ‘artist phenomenon. A deep sense of forlornness and despair that engulfed him because of financial instability living hand to mouth. He experienced ‘hunger blackouts.
