Invisible Enemy (Covid 19) is about looking at the journey of life. When David Tsoka was about five years old, he used to pick up and collect objects that he came across. Each object was meaningful for him and he soon became an avid collector of stuff and this is how he began to understand the world. David Tsoka was always curious to see what he would find the following day.Invisible Enemy (Covid 19) he use found and collected objects. Invisible Enemy (Covid 19), he use the internal mechanisms of and close-ups of mechanical and organic objects to describe the connection between his thoughts and what is happening around him. David Tsoka carve directly onto the plate. David start by inking up the plate black so that when he carve, the lines appear white. David never draw a lot of detail onto the plate before he carve, he usually allow the light areas to tell him what happens next as he carve. David Tsoka therefore carve from black to white, he carve into the darkness to create light and then he make decisions from there. The outcomes are often layered, textured and abstract.
