Multitudes

This was painted as a tribute to women who are so much more than they seem on the surface: they contain multitudes. In South Africa, it's common for women from disadvantaged backgrounds to work hard to take their children to university. We often see them selling produce on the sides of the roads or working as domestic workers in households which doesn’t seem like much but in reality, they are molding future doctors, scientists and yes, artists.
