In 'Lucky Star' the artist captures the journey of a young man bravely confronting life and the reality of earning an income to support his family. By doing so the figure ironically becomes the embodiment of a "Lucky Star" which is the absurd reality of being the sole breadwinner or educated in our present reality - the perception that it makes you the `lucky' one, whereas it should be an attainable norm for every aspirant young person in our society.
