A specimen of various decaying parts of organic bodies.
The decay seen in the disintegration and incompleteness of different forms in the piece, reflects an idea of the kinds of death that occurs even when one is still alive. Like a deteriorating building, death is not always finite. It often occurs within a living body in a gradual tone, like an untended building through time.
