MADI MADI pulses at the heart of Lady Skollie's latest exhibition.

In Setswana, madi means both money and blood — two essential life forces that collide in this bold new body of work. Here, money is explored as a kind of lifeblood: vital, powerful, but laced with tension.

This tightly curated collection reveals the double-edged nature of wealth — its pressure and its pleasure — rendered in striking mixed-media works on Fabriano paper. Rich, iron-tinged reds clash with deep blacks, creating pieces that are visceral, unsettling, and utterly captivating.
