Sherwyn Jantjies was born in 1999 in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Sherwyn resides and works in Gqeberha and Cape Town, South Africa. Sherwyn is currently in the process of completing his Bachelors of Fine Arts (BAFA) at Michaelis School of Fine Art, University of Cape Town (UCT). He is a recipient of the 2020 Michaelis School of Art Third Year Student SASA (South African Society of Artists) award.
