the gallery
the gallery is an artist-run platform for contemporary art developed by the atelier. Established in 2019, the gallery's programme includes exhibitions, exchanges, workshops and residencies. Rather than represent individual artists through its projects, the gallery seeks to consider what contemporary practices have in common.
the atelier specialises in archival framing and stocks a large selection of limited edition prints by South African artists. It was founded by Didier Presse and Fiona Pole in 2012.
