Inspired by the themes of identity and storytelling, Tshepiso uses the Baroque art form - a broad phrase that refers to complex features and elaborate sceneries. They are characterised by the use of complicated forms, bold ornamentation, archival imagery and the juxtaposition of contrasting materials to give a feeling of drama, movement and tension. She has been part of numerous exhibitions including her first international exhibition at Oakstop Gallery in Oakland, California (USA) and featured in publications such as 1854. Photography published by The British Journal of Photography and The Mail and Guardian - among many other esteemed publications.
