Co-founded and Co-directed by the artist painter Misheck Masamvu and textile artist Georgina Maxim Village Unhu in Harare, Zimbabwe is an art space that nurtures artistic local talent. Since 2009 it has offered several residencies, studio spaces, workshops, internships, art lessons, and exhibitions with an affinity towards paintings, mixed media sculptures and drawings and graphics.

As of 2022 Village Unhu is in expansion into other spaces namely Unhu Gallery and Project Unhu – the aim is to allow free flow of ideas from an artistic perspective through several venues; the gallery in Milton Park, Harare; Drifters, Mount Wolseley, Mutare; and collaboration with private invited institutions and creative platforms.
