In an underlayer painted as a bride with beaming face and blonde hair, the archetype of the handless maiden represents creative impotence in myth. Superimposing a new head for the maiden, an angry she-wolf, my wolf-woman in her party dress is a rejection of that. She will not be silenced.
Painting style is expressionist drawing on Jungian myth.
