Artist Silas Abrifor explores the complexity of human relationships and the power dynamics, inter-dependence, and imbalances that develop between us as we play out our interactions. The figure of a cube in constant motion and rotation seeking to correct the imbalances and tension but always landing in a position that binds and compromises one or the other symbolically and very powerfully represents the state of governance and political interplay on the continent and in his native Nigeria.
