Duduzile (DuduBloom) More

Duduzile (DuduBloom) More (b.1990) is a visual and textile artist based in Johannesburg. In 2018, she graduated from Artist Proof Studio as a printmaker and has been in professional practice since 2015. She has participated in various art residencies and competitions, and her work has been shown at various group exhibitions and art fairs. She is the winner of the 2019 Cassirer Welz Award, a 10-week residency hosted by The Bag Factory Artist Studios and Strauss & Co, which culminated in a solo exhibition, DELICATE / TENDENCY / RESPONSE at Kalashnikov Gallery, in February 2020. In 2020, her works were exhibited at 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair in London, and then again in 2021. In 2022, she showcased her works at Investec Cape Town Art Fair, as well as 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair in New York. In the same year, her work was presented in numerous group exhibitions at Berman Contemporary, some of which include, THE ANNUAL WINTER SHOW, MATERIALITY MATTERS and THE ANNUAL SUMMER SHOW. In 2023, Dudubloom exhibited in the Abadali Art Collection exhibition, presented by JP Morgan, at Keyes Art Miles and then exhibited in THE 2020s: NEW FORMS OF ABSTRACTION – PART 1 at Berman Contemporary, as well as REFLECTIONS at the Bag Factory in Johannesburg. Later in the year, DuduBloom again showcased her works at 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair in London. DuduBloom More is represented by Berman Contemporary.
