MBadger (b.1992) is a Ghanaian artist whose practice revolves around mythology,
surrealism, and bold visual language as a means of communicating personal narrative.
Drawing on a background in fashion and illustration, their work transforms intimate
experiences into dreamscapes that explore identity, trauma, and transformation.
Their education and professional experience span a BFA in Fashion Design from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD Atlanta) and collaborations with Vivienne Westwood, Studio 189, and Pat McGrath. MBadger’s debut solo exhibition In Relation to Light (2023) explored themes of limitation and self-discovery through the interplay of light and shadow, followed by participation in Echoes of Ghana (2023) and Take Your Place, Beloved (2024). Working across both traditional and digital media, MBadger crafts spaces where the bounds of reality are broken and reimagined, inviting vulnerability, healing, and renewal.
