Emma Wootton (b.2002 South Africa) works, and lives in Cape Town. Her focus on soft sculpture is shaped by her lifelong interest in fibre arts. In 2024 she graduated with distinction from Michaelis School of Fine Art, majoring in sculpture and print making. She was co-awarded the Michaelis Prize in 2024, and the Simon Gerson Prize in Both 2023 and 2024.
