Noluthando Ntsuntsha (b. 2001, Soweto, Johannesburg) is a South African visual artist and printmaker. She completed her studies at St. Vincent School for the Deaf in 2021 before beginning her artistic journey at Artist Proof Studio in 2023, where she is currently in her third year of study. Ntsuntsha works primarily with printmaking techniques including linocut and drypoint, exploring image-making through material and process.
In 2025, she exhibited an earlier artwork at the Deaf Art and Film Festival at Wits Art Park, Parktown. Deeply inspired by her teacher Raymond Fuyana, her practice is shaped by the cultures and lived experiences of Deaf communities in Johannesburg, Soweto, and Newcastle. Newcastle’s rich history and diversity have had a particularly strong influence on her artistic perspective, informing her engagement with identity, place, and community. Ntsuntsha aspires to complete a fourth-year internship at Artist Proof Studio to further develop her printmaking practice and establish herself as a professional Deaf artist.
