Carl is an artist, researcher and teacher. He has explored different media in his art making practice. Most recently he has been working with fiber. He makes utilitarian items from everyday materials as well as exploring the use of various materials to discover their potential. His academic work is focused around the meaning of the arts in marginalized communities.
