Leticia Sánchez Garris

Leticia Sánchez Garris was born and raised in the Dominican Republic with a major degree in Communications and twelve years living in Buenos Aires working as a cultural/tourism representation for her country. Leticia spent her formative years cultivating a dialogue with the African roots in Latin America, where she developed a keen interest in arts, culture, and African ancestry. Her captivating and one-of-a-kind visuals are for her inner child, where they dialog about her origins through symbols, nature, and textiles. She is also the founder and creative director of Afrohunting, a cultural movement with a multifaceted approach based on the narration of Africa's arts and audiovisual culture worldwide. Her work has been exhibited in Buenos Aires.
