Maike Bergold
Maike Bergold was born in 1995. She studied media design until 2017. From 2017 until 2021 she studied photography at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Hamburg, Germany. During that time she exhibited at the 7th Triennial of Photography in the exhibition ‘Forms of other Rooms’ at the Deichtorhallen.
Her Bachelor project was focused on staged photography, precisely on the topic of Coming of Age. After her studies she worked at the Leica Gallery in Frankfurt, Germany for two years, whilst participating at the artist residency at Studio Vortex with Antoine d’Agata in Arles, France. Currently she is focusing on her new photographic projects which are tightly linked to mental health topics while studying Psychology.
