Mari Vermeulen Breedt
Imperfectly Perfect is a collection of works in ceramics by Pretoria based artist Mari V. Breedt. A combination of the artist's own
experiences, knowledge, interest and interpretations illustrates her preoccupation with illness, ceramic and the works of the
Della Robbia family of the 15th and 16th centuries.
"The natural world of ferns, foliage and cacti are reminders of the perfect ratio of the Golden Section and is a prime example of
that which is glorious - as opposed to the brokenness of that which surrounds us."
