Meritblessing discovered her artistic talent at an early age, creating unique crafts for herself. Her passion for art led her to secure a position as a studio attendant at the prestigious studio of a renowned painter Mr. Duke Asidere. Pursuing her formal education, she enrolled at Auch Polytechnic in Edo State, where she graduated in 2009 with a degree in Art and Design, specializing in Graphics and Textiles. After completing her youth service, Meritblessing's love for textile design and fabric exploration inspired her to join Abiodun Omolayo Art Gallery, where she facilitated the "Young at Art" initiative as a textile facilitator.
In addition to her role at the gallery, she has taught art in various schools, passionately sharing her knowledge and creativity with her students. Continuing her journey in fabric exploration, Meritblessing has focused on the art of recycling discarded fabrics, crafting innovative pieces that reflect her commitment to sustainability and creativity. Her work embodies a unique blend of traditional techniques and contemporary design, making her a distinctive voice in the Sogal world of textile art.
