Nkhensani Rinhlampfu
Born in 1988 in Limpopo, Nkhensani Rihlampfu matriculated at Nylstroom Hoerskool in a town called Modimolle. He then went to study Fine and Applied Arts at the Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria, where he obtained a B-Tech in Fine and Applied Arts, majoring in printmaking and sculpture. Throughout his career, Nkhensani has been involved in several art programs, a number of exhibitions and produced many commissioned pieces. One of the commissions was a painting that he made for Constitutional Hill in Johannesburg. Nkhensani works in multidisciplinary materials, which include sculpture, painting, and drawing. Nkhensani has exhibited in The Absa L’Atelier, Grahamstown Arts Festival, Pretoria Art Museum, Turbine Art Fair, NeoEmergence Centurion Art Gallery, Arts Alive, The Jo’burg-Jo’burg Show, and the FNB Joburg Art Fair. In addition, Nkhensani has had solo exhibitions at mmArtHouse and was a Turbine feature artist. Nkhensani has worked at Workhorse Bronze Foundry, where they were involved in casting multiple Artists' culptures including William Kentridge’s bronze pieces.
