Caption: A runner makes their way up Chapman’s Peak on the 100-miler route. A steep and technical climb straight up from sea-level. The wind was howling here, and I was struggling to stand up on fresh legs. I couldn’t even imagine what it felt like for the runners, who still had almost 40 km to go to the finish.
