Praying for peace

It's a representation of the struggle to find peace, inner peace as much as "outer peace". It is a process of letting go: Letting go of the grief as much as of the self, and all the suffering that one as accumulated. The process of losing is a hard one in our society, even if it is for a better tomorrow. I used mineral in a large brush to "stroke" the background. And black oil paint to "furrow" the praying character. May we all see the beauty within us.
