I draw inspiration from everyday township life, using photography, collage, research, and digital manipulation in Canva to build my compositions. My process varies depending on the medium, from fine line work and contrast studies to printmaking techniques like etching, drypoint, silkscreen, and monotype. I often include symbols such as old mine dumps and the AK-47 Kalashnikov to represent power and fear in relation to Zama Zama activities, and a bucket of fruit to highlight mental well-being and responsibility. The moving figure and chair serve as metaphors for unemployment and the need for self-initiative, while the sun recurs as a symbol of renewal and a new day.
