This work is of a less-frequented waterfall that sits just above the "Second Waterfall" in Jonkershoek Nature Reserve. I named it "My Sister's Keeper" as, without feeding its more famous sister, the latter would not exist.
This pretty little waterfall, below a majestic amphitheatre of granite but hidden above its more well-known sibling, makes me think about life's unsung heroes. About those whose work does not reach the limelight but, without whom, the work of others would never see the light of day. It also makes me think of those who are more introverted and private. Harder to reach. More dangerous to get to know, maybe.
