Based in Lagos, Nigeria, Oloade Lawal is a visual artist who inquires' through lens-based mediums, abstract paintings and currently exploring an interdisciplinary practice. Her works mostly are personalized commentary on detachment, with situational evidence based on her lived experiences.

She studied Mass Communication at Yaba College of Technology. She has participated in both group exhibitions and Art fairs. She had her first solo show in 2023 and she features in Ake Review that same year. She is a Kuta Arts Residency Alumna and was recently a partiipant at G.A.S foundation Imora Arts Intensive Fellowship.
