The techniques he employs include linocut and etching. In his work, he uses the color green to represent rural areas, symbolizing the food grown on personal farmland. In contrast, gold represents urban areas, reflecting Johannesburg’s identity as the “City of Gold.”

He draws inspiration from the artwork of Vuyisile Adonis, which resonates with audiences by depicting the lifestyles of people living in rural or semi-rural areas.
