Titled: Transcendence. Inspired by James Baldwin's quote "Our crown has already been bought and paid for. All we have to do is wear it". This piece serves as a reminder that we arrive already whole, already worthy and crowned. With the signature etching in the background that have become the foundation of my work. From Maya Angelou's Poem to Our Grandmothers - " I come as one, But I stand as 10 000".
