This artwork is an expression of the artist's frustration when they find themselves forced to abide by the gender binary, for example when they use public bathrooms and there are only "male" and "female" toilets. Their preferred bathroom choice being a gender-neutral one.
It is an expression of frustration and angst, but also confidence and assurity as they empower themselves after the occurrence.
