This piece celebrates the quiet power of artistic migration — not as a story of exile or escape, but as a blooming of potential. Inspired by my relationship with the curator and founder of of The Space Botswana and The Spaces Africa - Atang L.S Arnold.
It reflects the moment when two creative paths, rooted in different homelands, cross in a new space. It speaks to the beauty of leaving home not to abandon it, but to carry it forward — each artist a vessel of culture, memory, and possibility.
When we creatives meet, we don't just share our individual stories — we open portals to wider networks, deeper connections, and collaborative futures.
Like roots intertwining underground, unseen but vital, these meetings nourish something greater. This painting is a visual dance of culture, collaboration, and the organic expansion that follows when Black and African identities arecelebrated, not explained.
