An Abstract Acrylic painting with handwork in Caran d'Ache crayon and pencil. Drawing inspiration from South African botanicals. I paint large marks with my paintbrush and then erase and work into the painting. Distorting the memory of the spaces with handwork, creating further details. These imaginary botanical scenes are where I feel most inspired lately. There is a freedom in being able to imagine something else in your mind.
