Moeti’s work draws from rituals of prayer, lineage, and feminine kinship,

offering quiet yet vivid reflections on belonging, healing and memory.

Her practice centres Black womanhood, sisterhood, and the sacred

gestures that inhabit both domestic and metaphysical spaces. Born in

KwaZulu-Natal and of Sotho heritage, she weaves personal mythology

with cultural practices, often using materials such as red clay, holy ash,

and impepho to trace spiritual inheritance and continuity.
