Dreams delayed are not dreams denied

 In my practice I explores Black identity, particularly youth experiences within diverse social contexts. Through portraiture and figurative painting, i highlights resilience, beauty, and emotional depth. Working primarily in acrylic, I use magenta as a symbolic color representing strength, diversity, and self-discovery. The layered mark-making reflects themes of construction, deconstruction, and lived reality. The recurring Wi-Fi symbol in my work serves as a metaphor for invisible connections, communication, and emotional bonds, emphasizing the quiet power of identity and human connection.
